In few years Indian Railways continuously replacing the old ICF coaches to LHB coaches. Sometimes only coach colors are not enough to identify the LHB coach. Here we will discuss some specific points to know exactly which coach is LHB.
Coach Colors
As earlier I say coach colors are not enough to identify the LHB coach. But here I am sharing a color based simple method to identify the LHB coaches.
Just remember the following body colors of non LHB coaches:

If you found similar body color coaches like above then you can say it's not LHB. LHB Coaches have different colors for different types of trains.
Through Bogie
Just closely see the bogie of coach. If you are familiar with FIAT bogie then you can easily identify the LHB Coach. Bogie is a very important part of a coach. FIAT bogie used in LHB Coach. Just remembering the structure of FIAT bogie, you can easily identify the LHB Coach.

Coach type written on back panel
By using this method, you can say with more confidence its LHB coach. Check the back panel of both sides and find the coach type written on it. If it starts with "L" then it's LHB coach. Following are some examples of LHB coach type:
- LWACCN
- LWLRRM
- LWFAC
- LGS
- LSLRD
- LVPH
